The great Eddie Plank had a Hall-of-Fame career, as most of us know. He's a local legend. If there were an HOF for local restaurants, Gettysburg Eddie's would likely be enshrined. They'd certainly get our vote!
It's always a pleasure to come back to Eddie's, where we've had such great fun for so very long. We'll slide in safely again this week, ready to enjoy the beers, the food, the special atmosphere. You know.
We'll meet up, as usual, at the rear of the restaurant and in the parking lot. If you don't get a spot in the lot, there's plenty of (free) space all around. From there, the plan is to head on up to Hanock Avenue, where a turnaround at United States Ave. adds up to just about three miles. Of course, you can alter the plan if you wish.
Come on out, enjoy the spring weather, and let Eddie's hit another home run!

Early birds and walkers at 6:00
Over the years, our two start times of 6 and 6:30 have evolved nicely into two separate waves, a good deal for us and for our hosts. If you’re walking or just like to get going early, plan to leave at 6. If you’re old school, we roll out at 6:30. The objective is to get to the bar, no questions asked.
